Sorry I made a mistake first time on here.
Here is what I think will help you. Now i will refer to the first thing you said Always having items arranged in a certain way. First when you are about to do this say it out load I have to have this a certain why than say thats odd. Just like Derek said as a tool than the hard stuff start small and i gurantee this as a soloution in time. Now if you are so in the habbit if for example and i dont know what way this has to be for you the arranging but use this as an example. Instead if having all the forks exactly beside each other let one just one be on the spoons, than wait your anxiety will go through the roof but you will bear it keep waiting and than probabbly about 10 to 15 minutes in this situation depends than your anxiety will subside and you will have experienced the knowing that you are okay and nothing bad happened. this is exposure hope it helps
