is this pure ocd? I've had this habit since my early teens, I'm now 51 and it's been getting more often and intense very gradually over the years. What I do is a ritual to satisfy a thought. I look for a certain feeling, a feeling of reassurance. It can be on any thought. I think the thought over and over until I get that feeling of relief. Anxiety intensifies until I reach that goal. Many times I sweat and feel very uneasy. This goes on all day everyday from one thought to another. Is this pure ocd? and how can I stop this ritual.
